Advertiser Staff
A flash flood watch has been issued for O'ahu, Maui, Moloka'i, Lana'i and Kaho'olawe through Monday morning.National Weather Service forecasters said heavy thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow could bring the threat of flash flooding.
Throughout the day, Kaua'i has been getting moderate rains, with some heavier showers. O'ahu has also seen some rain.
Weather service meteorologist Bob Burke said the rains are thanks to a front west-northwest of Kaua'i, which is making the air unstable.
So far, there have been no reports on major flooding in the Islands. Kaua'i has seen some nuisance flooding on roads.
