National Guard ready if needed

Maj. Chuck Anthony, spokesman for the Hawai'i National Guard, said today that this is a drill weekend, and more than 5,000 troops are at their duty stations statewide.

"So we have our personnel and ready to go in case there are any requirements that civil authorities might give us," he said.
