Road crews will be busy this week

Take care when you're on the road this week as there is plenty of work under way.

Resurfacing work on Kamehameha Highway

Lanes will be closed in both directions along Kamehameha Highway between Pali Highway and Kahiko Street through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for road resurfacing work.

H-3 work scheduled

Honolulu-bound lanes will be closed along the H-3 Freeway between the H-3 tunnels and Halawa through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for pavement striping and marker installation.

Work to close lanes on Likelike

Lanes will be closed along Likelike Highway between Valley View Drive and the Wilson Tunnels at the following locations for guardrail installation, shoulder paving and striping work.

i Town-bound through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

i Kane'ohe-bound through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Work set for Pu'uloa Road

Lanes will be closed along Pu'uloa Road from Kamehameha Highway to Salt Lake Boulevard through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the following locations:

i Shoulder lanes on both sides of Pu'uloa Road will be closed for utility work.

i Lane closed between Kamehameha Highway and Salt Lake Boulevard for electrical work.

Night work along Nimitz Highway

Lanes will be closed in both directions along Nimitz Highway from Waiakamilo Street to the Ke'ehi Interchange through Friday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for road resurfacing work.

Work scheduled near Crouching Lion

Lanes will be closed Kamehameha Highway between Waiahole Valley Road and Crouching Lion Inn through Friday for roadwork. One lane of traffic in either direction will be closed and contra-flowed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Work planned near Camp Smith

Lanes will be closed along Halawa Heights Road between Ulune Street and Fernridge Place, in the vicinity of Camp Smith, through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for pavement marking and sign installation.

Lanes closed near Middle Street Tunnel

Right and shoulder lanes will be closed along the H-1 Freeway in both directions near the Middle Street Tunnel through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

Lane closed on 'Aiea Access Road

A right lane will be closed on 'Aiea Access Road southbound from Moanalua Road to Kamehameha Highway through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for curb ramp, guardrail and bike rail installation work.

H-1 Wai'alae off-ramp to close

The Wai'alae off-ramp (Exit 26, West) of the H-1 Freeway will be closed in the westbound direction on Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. for road repair work. Electronic message boards will be placed at the Kilauea Offramp (Exit 27, West) to notify motorists and a special-duty police officer will be onsite to monitor the ramp closure.

Lots of work on Farrington

Lanes will be closed westbound along Farrington Highway between Hakimo Road and Kaukama Road through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The right lane will be closed for improvements to an existing concrete channel wall and the installation of a chain link fence.

Lanes will be closed along Farrington Highway in Waipahu through Friday, at these locations and times:

Eastbound (8:30 a.m. through 3 p.m. daily)

i Right lane near Waipahu High School for bridge post construction.

i Lane will be closed from Leoku Street to Waipahu Depot Road for pavement striping, loop detector installation and manhole cover adjustments.

Westbound (7:30 a.m. through 3 p.m., daily)

i Right lane from Waipahu High School to Paiwa Street for bridge post construction, sidewalk and drainage work.

i Lanes will be closed from Waipahu Depot Road to Leokane Street for road resurfacing.
