Electricity was restored to all areas of O'ahu by early this morning, but not all stoplights are in sync.

Just past 6 a.m., the Honolulu Police Department issued orders to all officers on the first watch to remain at work to help direct traffic at intersections where the stoplights are malfunctioning or are not working at all.

Affected areas include Manoa, lower Moiliili, Chinatown and Kaimuki.

Many of the problem stoplights need to be reprogrammed to get them up and working, police said.
