Soccer coach enters not-guilty plea via video

Lawyer William Harrison, who represents former soccer coach Frederick N. Rames, appeared in Circuit Court this morning. His client entered a not guilty plea via closed-circuit television.

A former youth soccer coach facing sexual assault charges pleaded not guilty in O'ahu Circuit Court this morning.

Frederick N. Rames appeared via video feed from the O'ahu Community Correctonal Center while more than 20 supporters filled the benches of the courtroom to support his attorney's assertions that he is not guilty.

Rames' trial is set to start Dec. 18.
