Maestro change for Honolulu Symphony this weekend

Maestro Andreas Delfs, the music director of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, will be the guest conductor for the "Exhilarating Glory" concerts on Oct. 20 and 22 at the Blaisdell Concert Hall, the Honolulu Symphony announced today.

Delfs replaces the ailing maestro Christopher Seaman.

In addition, Brahms Symphony No. 1 in C minor will replace Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 5.

Hawai'i pianist Jon Nakamatsu will perform at both concerts.
