New children's hair salon in Moanalua

Pigtails & Crewcuts, located in the New Moanalua Shopping Center, is throwing a grand-opening party from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4.

The event will include nail- and face-painting, makeup applications and a lion dance.

The kid-friendly salon — which features a playroom, video game systems and barber chairs in the shapes of airplanes and fire engines — opened Oct. 2.
