Muggy weather may soon give way to trade winds

Advertiser Staff

Warm and muggy conditions continue to dominate the National Weather Service forecast today, but the tradewinds may return as early as Sunday and get downright breezy by Tuesday.

Partly cloudy conditions with scattered showers are expected throughout the day with high temperatures of 80 to 88 degrees. Winds are expected to be light.

More clouds and locally heavy showers are expected in the this afternoon and early evening.

Tomorrow should see wetter conditions, with isolated thunderstorms a possibility, the weather service said. Winds will remain variable into Sunday, when the tradewinds should return.
