Tesoro continues to restore production after blackout

Tesoro Hawaii said it has resumed production of gasoline, diesel and jet fuel at its Kapolei refinery following the shutdown of the plant Sunday because of the islandwide power outage.Tesoro had begun restoring production incrementally on Tuesday. The company said it hopes to restore full production by this weekend assuming no complications arise.
Both Tesoro and the state's other refiner, Chevron reported no significant disruptions in gasoline supplies in the wake of refinery shutdowns.
