The musical 'Annie' to open next month

The beloved musical "Annie" will open Nov. 16 at the Army Community Theatre.

Channing Weir, who recently starred in ACT's "The Secret Garden," will play the red-headed orphan.

Shari Lynn, veteran of hits such as "Gypsy," "Guys and Dolls" and "Hello, Dolly," stars as Miss Hannigan, the unscrupulous head of the orphanage.

"Annie" will run through Dec. 2.

All performances start at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 and $20 for adults, $12 and $15 for children.

Others in the cast include Chelsea Michael as Molly, Andriana Honda as Kate, Taylor-Van Highfill as Tessie, Kanani Rogers as Pepper, Hailey Everett as Duffy and Madison Eror as July.

The production will be directed by Brad Powell, with choreography by Katherine Jones, musical direction by Ernest Taniguchi, and set design by Jon Savage of Boston University.
