Be a houseguest on tour

We all get a hankering to peek into the bathroom, right? Well, if you sign up for the 19th Annual Great Kitchen & Bath Tour to be held 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, you get free reign in the throne room.

You'll wander through homes in 'Aina Haina, Kahala, Manoa, Nu'uanu, Pali, Punchbowl and Mililani. Proceeds from the tour (it's $10 a ticket) benefit the Honolulu Habitat for Humanity.

GET IN THE MOOD FOR HALLOWEEN

Scare your tabis off at Kaidan Kalabash Sunday at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai'i.

Local storytellers will share their scary and mysterious stories at this free event. ("Kai" means mysterious; "dan" means story.) The all-ages "Ghosts, Giggles & Goodies" is from 1 to 5 p.m. with "Tita" Kathy Collins, Alton Chung, Karen Yamamoto-Hackler and Nyla Ching-Fujii. Super-scary stories will be shared at "An Obake Odyssey" from 7:30 to 9 p.m. with Lopaka Kapanui, Jeff Gere and Alton Chung.
