UH football receives votes in AP Top 25 poll

The University of Hawaii football team, fresh off a 49-30 victory at New Mexico State Saturday and winners of four in a row, received two votes in The Associated Press Top 25 football poll released today.Unbeatens Ohio State, Michigan, Southern California and West Virginia are ranked Nos. 1-2-3-4.
Boise State, defending Western Athletic Conference champion with an 8-0 record, is ranked No. 15.
UH (5-2) received two points, as did Iowa. Alabama, which defeated UH 25-17 in the Warriors' opener, got one vote.
