Kuli'ouou Road fire victim identified

The woman killed in a Kuli'ouou fire Oct. 15 was identied today by Honolulu Medical Examiner's office as Masae Kiyota, 81.The cause of death was determined to be "smoke inhalation and thermal burns due to a house fire" that was accidental, according to autopsy findings.
Kiyota's sister was rescued from the burning home at 256 Kuli'ouou Road by neighbors Peter and Harris Phengvath.
