Trade winds return to the islands

A strong high pressure system north of the state has brought the trade winds back, the National Weather Service said.The trades should be strongest today but they'll
be consistent all week.
Moderate winds of 15 to 25 are in the forecast today with
gusts reaching 35mph, the the weather service said. The brisk conditions prompted the weather service to post a small craft advisory today for all coastal waters.
The trades will also bring rain. Passing clouds and scattered showers are expected today.
Highs will 83 to 88 degrees.
