Horizon matches Matson's cut in fuel surcharge

Horizon Lines will reduce its fuel surcharge Nov. 6 from 19.75 percent to 18.75 percent for shipments between Hawai'i, Guam and the Mainland.The fuel surcharge decrease is the result of the continued downward trend in fuel costs, Horizon said in a letter to customers last week.
Matson Navigation Co. previously announced it would reduce its fuel surcharge by the same amount on Nov. 5.
