Bumper-to-bumper traffic greets morning commuters

Advertiser Staff

It's an ugly Monday morning commute with townbound commuters creeping in from all part of the island at this hour.

At the H-1/H-2 freeway merge headed eastbound into Pearl City the drive is bumper-to-bumper.

Closer to town at Middle Street, the townbound traffic remains slow, but it clears up at Liliha Street.

Honolulu-bound traffic along Kalanianaole Highway can be heavy at times at Laukahi Street. When you get to Old Waiale Road on the H-1 Freeway, you'll find brakelights galore.

A downed tree in the Kaneohe-bound lanes of the Likelike Highway about half mile before the Wilson Tunnel has slowed the reverse commute as well. The right lane is blocked, so use caution.
