Five-time Honolulu Marathon winner takes third

Five-time Honolulu Marathon champion Jimmy Muindi of Kenya finished third in Sunday's Chicago Marathon, the second largest marathon in the United States.Muindi, who will defend his Honolulu title on Dec. 10, earned $55,000 with his run of two hours, seven minutes and 51 seconds.
The time was two seconds slower than his lifetime best set last year in Rotterdam.
Muindi finished behind fellow Kenyans Robert Kipkoech Cheruiyot (2:07:35) and Daniel Njenga (2:07:40).
