Body boarder killed Saturday identified

A bodyboarder who died after a surfing mishap Saturday at Sandy Beach has been identified as Christopher T. Johnson, 31, of Kaneohe, the Office of the Honolulu Medical Examiner said today.The cause of death has been deferred pending further investigation.
Lifeguards pulled Johnson from the water about 4:10 p.m. Saturday and he died later that day at Straub Hospital & Clinic.
