Performance art icon Laurie Anderson at LCC Friday

Laurie Anderson, whose "Big Science" album was a seminal 1980s work, performs "The End of the Moon" at 8 p.m. Friday at the Leeward Community College Theatre."The End of the Moon" is the second in a trilogy of solo works that combines stories and music in an intimate setting. It draws on Anderson's experience as NASA first — and only — artist in residence in 2003, examining the space race, war, spirituality, consumerism and other burning issues of our time.
