UH students can get ride to game, free trip to Vegas

Advertiser Staff

University of Hawaii students not only can get a free ride to Aloha Stadium for the football game against Idaho Saturday, but they also have a chance to win a free trip to Las Vegas, too.

The Chancellor's Office is providing free bus transportation to UH football games. Game time is 6:05 p.m.

The buses will pick up UH students on Dole Street in front of the Gateway House two hours before game time. The buses will leave the stadium 30 minutes after the game and return to the Gateway House.

Sign-up sheets will be at the front desks at each UH residence hall.

Students also can register at Gate 7 for the opportunity to win a Trip to Las Vegas and other great prizes.

One student will be drawn from those who register prior to the game to compete in a contest on the field between the third and fourth quarters.

Also, 1,000 "Thunderstix" will be distributed in the UH student section.

As part of homecoming week, members of the UH Alumni Association and UH faculty and staff will receive two tickets for the price of one (maximum of eight total) to the game.

UHAA members need to present their membership cards and faculty and staff their UH identification cards when purchasing tickets.

Purchase in advance at Stan Sheriff Center (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) or in advance and on game day at Aloha Stadium. Tickets are in special sections. Other restrictions may apply.
