Lahaina Jackpot Fishing Tournament this weekend

The Lahaina Yacht Club is hosting its 30th Jackpot Fishing Tournament this weekend.The main tournament is Saturday and Sunday. The 29th Wahine Fishing Tournament is on Friday.
Last year, 40 boats entered the main event, with Kalani Tom winning $15,000 for his team with a 490.3-pound blue marlin. He was aboard the Pualele out of Maalaea Harbor with captain Kalei Luuwai.
Michelle Matsumoto won $2,500 for the biggest catch in the women's tournament — a 54.9-pound ahi. She was aboard the Iwa Lele with captain Fuzzy Alboro. A total of 22 boats were entered.
