Spooky treats at Windward Community College

Windward Community College will tomorrow host a Haunted Village, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., featuring spooky treats for families, ranging from Dr. Phrankenstein's Phantom Physics Lab that explores the science behind magic to a Halloween Cartoon Theater.

The event includes:

  • "Nightwalk," an Imaginarium show that includes a virtual tour of a haunted graveyard. Audiences will be guided on a 15-minute 3D walk to a creepy crypt and into a haunted mansion filled with bats, ghosts and other spooky things. Show Times: 6 p.m. 6:20 p.m. 6:40 p.m. 7 p.m. 7:20 p.m. 7:40 p.m. 8 p.m. Tickets prices: $3.00 per mortal or $2.00 in costume. Cost is $3 for mortals and $2 in costume.

  • Dr. Phrankenstein's Phantom Physics Lab will explore the science behind magic and illusions. This Halloween science lab spotlights hands-on activities and optical demonstrations.

  • Knightly Combat. Watch from the safety of the sidelines as members of the Society for Creative Anachronism battle in full knightly armor.

  • Halloween Cartoon Theater. The Village's Cartoon Theater will offer continuously running spooky videos.

  • Spooky Storytelling Corner. A place for villagers to gather for scary tales.

  • Pumpkin carving contest and display. The village will display of award-winning jack-o'-lanterns. Visitors may bring their own.

  • Haunted Village. Complete with graveyard, lighted displays, flying ghosts, a witch's brew, and other spooky scenes.

  • Others tricks and treats. Stilt walkers, paliku players, face-painting, and the Phantom Food Booth and the Village Café o' Terror.
