UH homecoming events set for Friday

Advertiser Staff

Some members of the University of Hawai'i football team and coach June Jones are scheduled to appear at a football homecoming pep rally on Friday night at the UH dorms.

The Warriors play Idaho on Saturday at Aloha Stadium.

The pep rally, organized by The Associated Students of the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be carnival games, booths and prize giveaways.

Two other Friday events will be held at UH's Campus Center. At 10 a.m., shave ice and food will be offered with music and activities provided by KTUH. At 9 p.m., a concert will feature Kani Makou, One Drop, Sashamon and Koa'uka.

UH students get into the concert free with a valid ID and can bring one guest.
