HPU names Steilen dean of business school

Hawai'i Pacific University has named Charles Steilen dean of the College of Business Administration.Steilen, who recently joined HPU as a professor of marketing, will become dean effective July 1. Steilen held both faculty and administrative positions at the Chinese University of Hong Kong before joining HPU.
Steilen helped lead the development and expansion of the Chinese University's master of business adminstration programs and served as executive director of its Asia-Pacific Institute of Business.
"Chuck Steilen is a perfect fit for where Hawai'i Pacific University is going with its business college," said Chatt Wright, HPU president. "Dr. Steilen brings to HPU a proven ability to grow business programs and to connect our students and faculty with our vibrant business community," Wright said.
