Engineers complete quake assessment

A team of University of Hawai'i engineers have published on assessment of damage on the Big Island in the wake of twin earthquakes on Oct. 15.The report is available at www.cee.hawaii.edu.
Three university engineers surveyed areas hardest hit by the quakes. They concentrated their survey on landslides, harbors, buildings, roadways and bridges. The team will return to the Big Island shortly to conduct further assessments.
