Truck hits Makakilo garage; two hurt

A truck driven by a 47-year-old man crashed into a Makakilo garage early this morning, injuring the man and his teenage passenger.The accident occurred about 2:30 a.m. when the truck drove into the garage on Awawa Street near Anipeahi Street. Both the driver and the 14-year-old boy who was in the truck were taken to The Queen's Medical Center in serious-but-stable condition, said Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city's Emergency Medical Services division.
