Apparent drowning at Magic Island

A 76-year-old woman apparently drowned in waters off Magic Island this evening, police said.The woman was found unresponsive in the water about 6:30 p.m., and swimmers pulled her to shore. Paramedics administered cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.
Police do not suspect foul play.
