McLachlin's 5-under 66 puts him in top 10

Honolulu's Parker McLachlin shot a 5-under 66 to vault from 26th to a tie for 10th in the Miccosukee Championship, a Nationwide Tour event in Miami.

McLachlin ahd six birdies. He recorded his lone bogey on the 18th hole.

His four-round total was 9-under 275, eaning him $12,500.

Former Georgia Tech star Bryce Molder won his first professional title, closing with a 3-under 68 for a one-stroke victory over Boo Weekley in tour's final full-field event of the year.

The 27-year-old Molder had at 14-under 270 total and earned $90,000 to jump from 49th to 21st on the money list with $202,957 with only the Nationwide Tour Championship left. The top 22 players at the end of the season will earn PGA Tour cards.
