UH, Brennan No. 1 in NCAA statistics

The University of Hawaii football team is piling up impressive numbers on the scoreboard and in the NCAA statistical books.

UH, fresh off a 68-10 victory over Idaho Saturday, is No. 1 in passing, total offense,and scoring, and quarterback Colt Brennan is No. 1 in three categories.

UH is averaging 421.9 yards per game passing. Its total offense is 529.25 yards per game. Its scoring is 45.38 points per game.

The team also is No. 2 in third-down efficiency at 57.9 percent.

Brennan, who passed for 333 yards and five touchdowns (no interceptions) in about three quarters of work, is No. 1 in passing efficiency, total offense and points responsible for.

Brennan's rating is 185.0; his total offense is 391.0 yards per game. He's responsible for 27 points per game.

The junior also is No. 2 in passing yards per game (366.75), No. 3 in completions per game (28.75), and No. 3 in total passing yards (2,934).

UH receiver Davone Bess is No. 4 in receptions at 7.38 catches per game.
