UH receives votes in AP Top 25 football poll

The University of Hawaii football team received two votes in The Associated Press' Top Twenty Five football poll released today.

Ohio State (9-0) received 63 first-place votes and is No. 1.

Michigan (9-0) is No. 2, followed by West Virginia, which received two first-place votes.

Texas (8-1), whose only loss is to Ohio State, moved up to No. 4, followed by Louisville (7-0), Auburn (8-1), Florida (7-1), Tennessee (7-1), Southern California (6-1), and California (7-1).

USC fell after losing to Oregon State, 33-31, Saturday. Oregon State, which received nine top-25 votes, plays at Hawaii Dec. 2. Alabama, UH's first opponent, received two votes.

Western Athletic Conference member Boise State (8-0) is No. 14.
