Tax Department nominated for IBM innovation award

The state Department of Taxation has been nominated as a finalist for innovation awards given by FileNet, a unit of IBM.The department is a finalist in the "enterprise architecture" category and was nominated for a solution developed in partnership with CGI-AMS, a Virginia-based company that provides information technology consulting to businesses and governments. Others nominated for the award including the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and the Tennnessee Office for Information Resources.
