Man allegedly splashes two with gas in fire threat

A 46-year-old Makiki man was charged today for allegedly squirting gasoline at two men and threatening to set them on fire.

James Graffis is being held in lieu of $30,000 bail after being charged with two counts of first-degree terroristic threatening for an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 19 in Kaimuki. Graffis was charged after being located by Crime Reduction Unit officers from Kalihi and positively identified by the victims.

Police said the two men, ages 33 and 30, were not injured. The men also told police Graffis threatened to stab them.
