AT&T Government Solutions said it was awarded a $64.1 million, five-year contract to help improve the U.S. Army's finance and supply processes in Hawai'i and several overseas locations including Germany, South Korea and Kuwait.

The Army hopes to reduce costs and increase efficiency by streamlining logistics, strengthen its supply chain management and provide near real-time inventory reports, Vienna, Virginia-based AT&T Government said in a press statement.
