Surf is best on Windward coast today

Wave faces along the Windward coast will be in the 2 to 4 foot range today, while those on the north, south and western shores will remain in the 1 to 3 foot range, according to the National Weather Service.

Beaches will be hot with partly cloudy skies.

Water temperatures will remain at the 80 degree level.

Tomorrow, waves faces on the south shores will move into the 2 to 4 foot range, while windward heights will drop to the 1 to 3 foot range as the eastern trade winds diminish moving into Labor Day.
