High pressure system keeping trade winds around

It now looks like the trade winds will hang around through the weekend and back off a bit starting early next week, according to the National Weather Service.Forecasters believe moderate to locally breezy trades will prevail due to a stubborn high pressure system north of the islands.
The trades will bring a few showers, mostly to windward and mountain areas.
The winds will slowly ease off when the new work week arrives as a low pressure area develops northwest of the state.
Here's what to look for over the weekend:
Today, partly cloudy with isolated showers in the morning, then mostly sunny in the afternoon. Highs 81 to 89. East winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
Tonight, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 68 to 78. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
Saturday, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Highs 81 to 89. East winds 10 to 15 mph with higher gusts. Chance of rain 20 percent.
Saturday night, mostly clear with isolated showers. Lows 67 to 76. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
Sunday, mostly sunny in the morning then becoming partly cloudy. Isolated showers. Highs 81 to 89. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
