Maui accident victim identified

Maui police have identified the motorcyclist killed Saturday in a collision on South Kihei Road as Devin Elliott, 22.According to police, Elliott was thrown from his speeding 2001 Suzuki 750cc motorcycle when it broadsided a 2002 Mercedes two-door sedan making a U-turn at 12:01 a.m. Saturday. Elliott, who was not wearing a helmet, died at the scene.
A man and woman in the car were treated and released at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
