U.S. Sen. Daniel Akaka has been endorsed by the Laborers' International Union of North America Local 368 in the Democratic primary for Senate.

His challenger, U.S. Rep. Ed Case, announced that he has been endorsed by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Hawai'i.

ISLE FIREFIGHTERS SUPPORT LINGLE

The Hawai'i Fire Fighters Association has endorsed Gov. Linda Lingle's re-election campaign. The association represents 2,600 firefighters state-wide.
