Muggy weather sticking around

Advertiser Saff

Look for the weather to be increasingly muggy until mid week when the trade winds return return to normal and chase the high humidity out of town.

What wind there is will shift around, coming out of the southeast by Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

The first few days of the week will be marked by cloudy interior sections over most islands but little rain.

From Wednesday into the coming weekend, the trades should bounce back to normal, bringing light rains back to windward and mountain areas.

Here's what to look for during the first part of this week:

Today, partly cloudy. Isolated showers in the morning. Highs 81 to 89. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 67 to 77. North winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tuesday, partly cloudy. Isolated showers in the morning. Highs 81 to 89. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tuesday night, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 67 to 76. North winds up to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Wednesday, partly cloudy. Isolated showers in the morning. Highs 82 to 90. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent. Wednesday night, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 67 to 76. Northeast winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
