Kamehameha Highway to be rerouted in La'ie

Traffic will be detoured onto a new road near the Kokololio Bridge for about a year starting tomorrow so contractors can replace the bridge.The Kahuku-bound lane of Kamehameha Highway will be closed tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. to finish installing safety devices for the traffic changes. Drivers are urged to allow for extra travel time and use caution while using the detour road.
