Saint Louis sports on radio

Advertiser Staff

The "Saint Louis Crusader Hour," a new weekly sports radio show, will be on the air from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight on AM 690.

The show, which will run every Tuesday, features interviews with Saint Louis athletes, coaches and administrators. It also includes a review of the past week's scores and a preview of the coming week, along with special announcements and celebrity guests.

KAHUKU SHOWS ALOHA

The Narbonne (Harbor City, Calif.) football team lost at Kahuku, 25-6, on Sept. 1, but left Hawai'i with fond memories.

The Gauchos visited Pearl Harbor and the Polynesian Cultural Center, and had a spaghetti dinner with the Red Raiders the night before the game.

"We got treated like celebrities by the Kahuku and La'ie community," Narbonne coach Manuel Douglas said. "Our kids now have lifetime memories."
