Light trade winds expected through end of week

The trade winds are expected to remain light through the rest of the week and then pick up a bit over the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Shower activity over windward and mountain areas will increase some with the return of the moderate trades, but remain sparse and light overall, forecasters said.

Here's how the tail end of the work week is shaping up:

Today, mostly sunny. Highs 82 to 90. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Tonight, mostly clear in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Lows 67 to 76. Northeast winds around 10 mph.

Thursday, partly cloudy. Isolated showers in the morning. Highs 82 to 89. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Thursday night, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 67 to 76. East winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Friday, partly cloudy. Isolated showers in the morning. Highs 81 to 89. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Friday night, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 67 to 76. Northeast winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
