Car fire slows town-bound traffic on Likelike

A car fire earlier this morning and the resulting backup in the town-bound lanes of Likelike Highway near Kahekili Highway are slowing the drive into town this morning from Windward O'ahu.Elsewhere, it's slow going on the H-1 Freeway from drivers heading in from Windward and Central O'ahu.
Traffic begins to stack up near the Waikele shopping center and releases once past the Waimalu on-ramp. It slows again at the Middle Street merge.
Once past there, it is stop and go all the way to the downtown exits.
Heading in from East O'ahu, the slowdown begins prior to the Koko Head Avenue overpass.
