Kayaker pulled from bay waters died of heart attack

An autopsy has determined that a Big Island man pulled from West Hawai'i waters Tuesday died of a heart attack.The victim has been identified at Alvin Lung, 63, of North Kohala.
Lung was last seen launching his kayak from the Puako Boat Ramp. Witnesses saw him floating in a bay between the boat ramp and Wailea Bay at about 4:09 p.m. Tuesday, pulled him out of the water and called 911. When police and fire rescue units arrived, Lung had no vital signs.
Police said they do not suspect foul play.
