UH's Chang earns WAC Player of the Week in soccer

Hawai'i midfielder Kelli-Anne Chang was named the Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Chang, a sophomore from 'Aiea, scored two goals as the Rainbow Wahine went 2-0-1 on the week.

She helped UH to the Outrigger Hotels Soccer Shootout co-Championship and was named to the all-tournament team. She scored the game-winning goal with two seconds left in the first overtime period over Cornell and led UH with seven shots in a 0-0 tie against San Francisco.

She also scored the equalizer in the 82nd minute in UH's come-from-behind, 2-1, double-overtime win at Northern Arizona.

Fresno State goalkeeper Angie Larsen was the WAC Defensive Player of the Week. Hawai'i goalkeeper Lori Lu was nominated.
