Kamehameha Highway lanes to close

Work crews will be out in force this week. Drive carefully.

Westbound lanes will be closed along Kamehameha Highway on the on-ramp to the H-1 Freeway near the Waiawa Interchange through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for construction of seismic retrofit measures.

Work scheduled near Camp Smith

Lanes will close along Halawa Heights Road between Ulune Street and Fernridge Place, in the vicinity of Camp Smith, through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for pavement marking and sign installation.

Moanalua Freeway work set

The right southbound lane of the 'Aiea Access Road Bridge over the Moanalua Freeway will be closed between Moanalua Road and the Moanalua Freeway daily through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for light pole installation work and bridge upgrades.

Lanes may be closed along Moanalua Freeway and Kamehameha Highway just below the 'Aiea Access Road bridge overpass through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for installation of a bike rail.

Also, 'Aiea Access Road between Moanalua Road and Kamehameha Highway will be closed in both directions from 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22, to 4:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, as crews construct a concrete roadway.

Utility work on Pu'uloa Road

Both shoulder lanes along Pu'uloa Road from Kamehameha Highway to Salt Lake Boulevard will be closed through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for utility work.

A lane will be closed southbound along Pu'uloa Road near Mokumoa Street through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for drainage system installation.

Lanes may be closed eastbound along Salt Lake Boulevard between Pu'uloa Road and Ala Napunani through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for utility work.

Work scheduled near Crouching Lion

Lanes will be closed along Kamehameha Highway between Waiahole Valley Road and Crouching Lion through Friday for roadwork. One lane of traffic in either direction will be closed and contra-flowed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Lanes to close along Farrington

These lanes will be closed along Farrington Highway through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.:

  • eastbound direction, between Pupukahi Street and Waipahu Depot Road for paving work.

  • right lane in both directions, between Paiwa Street and Waipahu High School for drainage work.
