Morning commute slow but steady

Advertiser Staff

Traffic heading into town from Leeward and Central O'ahu is moving just a tad bit better today than it did yesterday.

Traffic is heavy but moving at a steady rate through the H-1/H-2 merge.

The flow remains heavy and slow through Pearl City and into 'Aiea, but picks up a bit once past the stadium.

Things come almost to a standstill at the Middle Street merge and it's slow going in through Kalihi and Liliha. The pace picks up again once past the Kinau Street off-ramp.

Traffic headed in from the Hawaii Kai side moves along well but slows just past the Koko Head Avenue overpass.

There are no major problems at this hour driving in from Windward O'ahu.
