Trade winds expected to increase

Look for the trade winds to increase a bit today and tomorrow as a high pressure system far northeast of the state strengthens, according to the National Weather Service.The trades will bring with them some low clouds and showers that will mainly affect windward and mauka areas, occasionally drifting over the leeward areas of some islands.

Today, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Highs 81 to 89. East winds 10 to20 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
Tonight, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Breezy. Lows 69 to 80. East winds 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
Wednesday, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Breezy. Highs 81 to 89. East winds 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
