Surfers will find swells off all shores today

Advertiser Staff

A high surf advisory remains in effect until midnight today for all

south-facing shores on O'ahu, where surf of 5 to 8 feet is expected.

Today will be one of those rare days where good surf can be found almost anywhere on O'ahu.

The National Weather Service forecast for today also calls for surf of 3 to 6 feet along west-facing shores, 4 to 7 feet along east-facing shores and 2 to 4 feet along north facing shores.

The moderate-sized east shore surf is expected to slowly subside today.

Meanwhile, another moderate south swell is expected to arrive today and continue through the weekend. However, the resulting surf is expected to remain below the high-surf advisory threshold along south-facing shores.
