Woman arrested in car-ramming incident

A 28-year-old Mililani woman was arrested late yesterday on Kamehameha Highway near Kuahelani Avenue after witnesses told police the woman used her car to repeatedly strike another car.

Police, who were initially called on an argument complaint, arrested the woman about 5:45 p.m. on suspicion of first-degree property damage.

Man in possession of stolen license, property arrested

What started out as a traffic stop near the Blaisdell Center last night turned into a felony arrest on suspicion of unauthorized possession of confidential information.

Police said a patrol officer pulled over a 30-year-old man about 11:40 p.m. for a traffic offense. They said that as the officer approached the car, he saw a driver's license belonging to someone else on top of the driver's dashboard.

The officer did some checking and found out the license had been reported stolen two days earlier. At that point the driver was arrested. Additional stolen property that had been reported as stolen was found in the car, police said. The driver was also arrested on suspicion of detaining stolen property and driving without a license.

Man in possession of other men's credit cards arrested

A 21-year-old man who had no local address was arrested in Downtown Honolulu yesterday afternoon on a bench warrant as well as suspicion of unauthorized possession of confidential person information.

Police said that while the man was being arrested on the warrant officers at the scene found credit cards belonging to two other men, ages 33 and 35.

The man they were detaining on the warrant was then arrest on suspicion of the confidential information offense as well, police said.

Man arrested in connection with sexual assault

A 22-year-old man turned himself in at the main police station on Beretainia Street yesterday in connection with a sexual assault complaint filed on behalf of a 14-year-old girl.

The girl alleges she was assaulted by a family friend on Tuesday.

Police arrested the man on suspicion of third-degree sexual assault.
