UH brings back 'Beyond Oil' film series

The University of Hawai'i summer film series "Beyond Oil: Alternative Energy Solutions" is repeating during the fall semester by popular demand.

Screenings are at 7 p.m. Wednesdays at Spalding Auditorium. Admission is $5 general, $3 UH students, faculty and staff.

The schedule:

  • Wednesday: The cold fusion wars and hydrogen power

  • Oct. 4: Energy from the Earth: ethanol and bio-diesel
